Virgin Galactic unveils SpaceShipTwo
Hard to believe it’s been three and a half years since I watched (on line) Mike Melville pilot SpaceShipOne into sub-orbital flight the first time. That was a really special moment for me. Seems like yesterday.
Burt Rutan and Sir Richard Branson today unveiled a series of models, images, and pictures of in process craft for SpaceShipTwo and its motherbird, WhiteNightTwo. For $200,000 you can get a trip into space…for 5 minutes. Hurry, the first 200 seats are already sold! Another beautiful design from the genius Rutan. Much like the original, but much different as well. I look forward to seeing the first flights.
