Scientific breakthroughs of 2007
Among the multitude of 2007 “Top whatever” lists, Wired has trotted one out on the Top 10 Scientific breakthroughs of 2007. Overall it is a pretty solid list. My personal favorite on the list is “Transparent Aluminum” not because I think it’s the most significant, but because I just love seeing science fiction come true!
I think there are a few items I would like to see on the list more than transistors getting smaller (no kidding) and chimps using spears (cool, but a breakthrough?). How about NanoSolar’s technology for one? Or glowing cats? Or transparent frogs for that matter?
